Italian Joint Air Operations School (Ita-JAOS)

NATO Accredited Education & Training Facility

The Italian Joint Air Operations School (ItaJAOS) is a joint education centre of Italian Armed Forces and the only Education Institution of the Italian Ministry of Defence accredited by NATO. It provides worth teaching, in continuous evolution and in line with technological innovations, in order to maintain constant adherence to the education needs of the national Armed Forces, NATO and friendly Countries.

Recently, the educational structure has been reorganized into four fields, which are Joint Air Operations Department, Remote Sensing Department, Space Department and Joint Targeting Department. These departments offer highly specialized NATO approved courses.

The ItaJAOS courses are available to military personnel of the Italian Armed Forces and to personnel of other National Administrations and to military personnel of NATO/PfP, under the authorization of the Italian Joint Defense Staff.

ItaJAOS Vision is to be relevant in training to operate, promoting knowledge, skills and enablement, for the benefit of the Country system.

ItaJAOS Mission is to design and deliver, in a multi-domain perspective, advanced and specialized training in the fields of Air-to-Surface Integration, Remote Sensing and Space, in support to National, NATO and partner Countries personnel.
