20 attendees, belonging to the Army, Air Force and Navy, have completed the 75th S.O.R. Course, the training process required to acquire the qualification of Air Force Operational Rooms.
The course has already seen a profound innovation since last year. In fact, as part of the planned practical activities, a new experience was included at the 4th Fighter Wing of Grosseto in addition to the consolidated activity at the Space Operations Command of Poggio Renatico.
The purpose of the course, developed and delivered with the support of sector specialists from various operational realities of the Armed Forces, is to provide visitors with the necessary knowledge for monitoring air missions at the Operations Rooms of the Flight Departments, for the coordination of support activities and for the management of information flows between the same Operating Rooms and the higher-level commands.
The experiential activities carried out represent an important training and growth opportunity for the attendees, given the strong operational connotation of the Departments involved, in which the theoretical and procedural notions acquired at the Joint Air Operations School, thus enhancing the innovative process and adaptation of the didactic contents of the course to the operational needs of the Armed Forces.
Finally, at the Space Operations Command of Poggio Renatico, the visitors obtained the certificate for "Integrated Command and Control" System Operators (ICC) which allows for the integrated management of command and control of operational assets.
