Undersecretary of State for Defence Perego meets with his German counterpart Zimmer

“Italy and Germany are strategic partners”, Undersecretary of State for Defence Matteo Perego di Cremnago said during bilateral talks with his German counterpart Benedikt Zimmer at Rome Palazzo Marina, Salone dei Marmi.

The discussion included themes like the strategic partnership between Italy and Germany, industrial cooperation in the defence sector and taking stock of the current, very critical geopolitical scenario.

“Cohesion among the European Union Menber States is of the utmost importance, and Italy and Germany play a vital role within this context”, Perego concluded in his intervention at the end of the meeting.
