Telephone call between Minister Crosetto and his UK counterpart

"Today I and my UK counterpart, Defence Secretary John Healey, had a telephone call on the main themes connected with the current complex international situation,  with special focus on developments following the   Washington meeting between the US President and European Prime Ministers. 
I reiterated the Italian position on the need to provide Ukraine with actual security guarantees, based on NATO's Art. 5 as the fundamental pillar of a durable peace. 
We confirmed the full agreement between our countries and renewed our shared commitment to peace and stability, in particular in Europe and the Middle East ". Thus Defence Minister Guido Crosetto.
