“I have read completely incorrect interpretations of the document approved today by several European and non-European countries, including Italy.
No war mission.
No entry into Hormuz without a ceasefire and without a broad multilateral initiative.
However, we are aware of the importance for everyone of working toward the safe reopening of Hormuz, and we believe it is right and appropriate that the United Nations provide the legal framework for a peaceful and multilateral initiative to achieve this goal” said the Minister of Defense, Guido Crosetto.
