Presentation of a New Digital Platform for “Stakeholders”
The new digital platform for “Stakeholders” was unveiled today at the Army Central Library in the presence of Defense Minister Guido Crosetto. This innovative system is designed to create a direct link between the Ministry of Defense and the worlds of business, research, and innovation.
Starting today, companies, SMEs, startups, universities, and professionals will be able to propose ideas, technologies, solutions, and strategic projects through a single, fully digitized channel. This initiative represents not only a significant technological advancement but also a true cultural evolution in the relationship between institutions and the business sector.
The objective is twofold: on the one hand, to ensure equal opportunities for access and dialogue for all entities interested in collaborating with the Ministry of Defense; on the other, to introduce modern, uniform organizational models grounded in the principles of fairness, legality, and impartiality.
The initiative is part of the broader framework of the Defense Policy Guidelines, which identifies technological innovation as a strategic lever for the country’s modernization.
At the heart of the project are the “List of Stakeholders” and the “Register of Meetings with Stakeholders,” tools introduced by the ministerial decrees of 2025 and 2026 to clearly and transparently regulate relations between Defense personnel and representatives of the industrial sectors of interest to the Ministry.
The “List” will allow interested parties to officially register to interact with the Ministry, while the “Register” will enable the tracking and monitoring of all contact and dialogue activities, thereby strengthening accountability and institutional trust.
