“On the Paralympic Games Closing Day, my gratitude goes to all the civilian and military athletes who honoured the Tricolour by winning 71 medals, like Ndiaga Dieng, from the Defence Paralympic Sports Group (GSDP), Italy’s flag bearer during the Closing Ceremony of the Paralympic Games. The 7 bronze, 2 silver and 3 gold medals won by the great team of the Defence have contributed to enrich the total number of Italian medals. Your determination and will to win set an example for all of us”.
