Niger: Italian Initiative in support of health and educational

Military members of the MISIN Mission (Bilateral Support Mission in Niger) have implemented a few military and civilian cooperation activities  in support of educational, religious and health institutions in the district of Agadez.

In particular, the Italian military have delivered school books, medicines and food supplies.

MISIN had alredy conducted educational and training activities for members of the Gendarmerie and local Security Forces in Agadez.

By resorting to the Civilian-Military Cooperation Cell (CIMIC) of our national contingent, Italy intends to continue to ensure its presence and provide support in an area faraway from the capital, Niamey, where the Mission’s headquarters is located.
