“5 years have passed since the start of the Covid19 pandemic, an event that deeply marked our country and the world at large. Today, we pay tribute to the memory of all the victims, and sympathize, with respect and deep feelings, with their families. The sacrifice of doctors, nurses, health operators, and all the those who continued to work during those most difficult times will never be forgotten, including Defence personnel: servicemen and servicewomen who provided medical assistance, logistical support and security to the people, with dedication and sense of duty. We must hold memory of those hard times, while continuing in our commitment for the good of the country. The Defence, now as in those days, keeps on serving the country with the same spirit of abnegation which guided every action during the emergency”.
