“Today we welcome the release of Alexander “Sasha” Troufanov, Sagui Dekel Chen and Ian Horn, three of the hostages detained by Hamas. An important event, and a step forward along a difficult path in which it is of fundamental importance to give increasingly more room to dialogue and diplomacy. Italy has always been in the frontline, and it renews its commitment to implement all possible efforts to guarantee security and stability: in brief, pacific coexistence among peoples in the region. This prompts us to follow on this path with even greater determination, with the International Community, so that all hostages can soon return to their homes, safe and sound, and to their loved ones”.
