Defense Minister Guido Crosetto, accompanied by the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and the Army Chief of Staff, visited the Army Multifunctional Experimentation Center (CEPOLISPE) and the Military Riding Center today, both located in Montelibretti.
To the staff of CEPOLISPE, the beating heart of the Army’s technological validation, the Minister reiterated the strategic value of testing and experimentation: technical rigor is not a mere bureaucratic formality, but a vital prerequisite for ensuring the operational reliability of equipment in the most extreme challenges. Addressing the personnel, he outlined the role of the Defense as an unshakable pillar of national security in a world marked by growing instability, urging ever-greater cohesion.
The visit to the Military Riding Center then highlighted a fundamental pairing: technological innovation finds its compass in the values of tradition. For the Minister, the solidity of the past is what allows us to navigate the uncertainty of the present. In closing, Crosetto emphasized the urgency of operational readiness: a collective commitment to ensure Italy’s ability to respond to any scenario, with the hope of soon restoring global balance.
