
Minister Crosetto visits the International Flight Training Scool at Decimomannu

Defence Minister Guido Crosetto today visited the International Flight Training School (IFTS) at Decimomannu (Cagliari), established thanks to the cooperation etween the Air Force and Leonardo.
“Cooperation between the Armed Forces and our national industry; seeking scale economies and the ability to work and train with allies and international partners have become essential to tackle emerging challenges. This is made possible also by establishing state-of-the-art training hubs like the International Flight Training School”, Minister Crosetto stated in the margins of his visit to the Decimomannu Air Base, headquarters to the international flight school for military pilots.
With over 400 personnel, 80% of them from Sardinia, IFTS is a model of excellence in the training of 4th and 5th generation jet pilots.
