Minister Crosetto on Official Visit to Turkiye

“Today, accompanied by my colleague Yaşar Güler, I have been received by President of Turkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan. I had the opportunity to hear ideas and reflections on themes of common interest regarding developments in international security scenarios in Ukraine, the Indo-Pacific and especially the Middle East. The President and I also had the opportunity to discuss NATO’s and the Europe’s defence and deterrence policy, as well as possible cooperation between our Armed Forces.”.
Thus Defence Minister Guido Crosetto during today’s official visit to Ankara, where he met his counterpart Yaşar Güler. “A precious occasion to deepen themes of common interest. We shared our concern on ongoing crises, in particular in the Middle East. We also examined the situation in Syria and Africa. Common will to promote dialogue and stability, from the Balkans to the Middle East”.
