“Looking at you, I feel I can have more confidence in the future. You have made an important choice—one that was not easy—and it deserves respect and admiration. A choice that strikes me even more deeply in light of the images of violence coming out of Milan in recent days.
I believe you can serve as a sort of ‘generational bridge,’ helping adults better understand your peers: how they are growing up and what influences their choices. Your proximity in age and your point of view can offer us a valuable perspective.
Always be curious, hungry for knowledge, eager to understand and interpret what is happening around you. Don’t just observe change. Try to understand it and be active participants in it.
Carry this experience with you, cherish its lessons, and never lose the enthusiasm to put yourselves out there,” said Minister Crosetto in Florence while meeting with students from the “Giulio Douhet” Air Force Academy.
