Minister Crosetto Meets with Lithuania’s Minister of Economy and Innovation

“Today I had a productive meeting with Edvinas Grikšas, Lithuania’s Minister of Economy and Innovation, who thanked Italy for its vital contribution of personnel and aircraft to NATO’s Air Policing and Air Defense operations to protect his country. The discussion focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation in the defense industry and technology sectors and consolidating the European security architecture, with a view that extends beyond the scope of the 27-member EU. The goal is to develop interoperable capabilities to counter threats—particularly hybrid and cyber threats—for the benefit of all nations on our continent.” So said Minister Guido Crosetto.
