Minister Crosetto meets with his Portuguese counterpart Nuno Melo

The Minister of Defense, Guido Crosetto, had a constructive and friendly meeting with his Portuguese counterpart Nuno Melo. "The focus of the dialogue was on strengthening cooperation in the Defense sector and the related industry, with particular attention to the maritime domain and the shared need to ensure security both above the surface and underwater," said Minister Crosetto, who added: "We confirmed the will to promote joint initiatives in areas of common interest, including within the EU and NATO, with special attention to the Mediterranean, making collaboration between our countries increasingly structured."
