Minister Crosetto meets with his German counterpart Pistorius

"A cordial and fruitful meeting with my German colleague Boris Pistorius. A thorough discussion on the main issues of common interest, starting with support for a 360° European Defense, based on interoperability and operational readiness.
The shared desire to strengthen coordination between Italy and Germany to consolidate European deterrence was highlighted, alongside the need to adjust Europe's strategic posture to current challenges.
The focus was also on Space, a domain where potential collaborations were explored, and on the defense industry, with the goal of promoting integrated production capabilities through a structured industrial cooperation, focused on innovation and technological development.
All the topics discussed will be the subject of further and in-depth discussions during the bilateral summit on January 23rd." Said the Minister of Defense, Guido Crosetto.
