Minister Crosetto meets with General Haftar

The enlarged Mediterranean, security, and the immigration emergency.

These were the main issues discussed during today’s meeting between Defence Minister Guido Crosetto and Libyan General Khalifa Haftar, who is currently in Rome.

It was a cordial and intense meeting during which Minister Crosetto said: "Only through dialogue can a just peace be achieved".
