Minister Crosetto Meets with Delegation from the United Arab Emirates

"A very cordial and constructive meeting with the Minister of State for Defense Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, Mohamed Bin Mubarak Bin Fadhel Al Mazrouei, with the Advisor to the President of the UAE for Strategic Research and Advanced Technologies — Faisal Abdulaziz Al Bannai — and the Secretary General of the Tawzun Council, Nasser Humaid Obaid Bakhit Al Nuaimi. 
The shared commitment to developing a long-term partnership based on the bonds of friendship between Italy and the United Arab Emirates was reaffirmed.
During the meeting, appreciation was expressed for the support and solidarity provided by Italy regarding the crisis in the Middle East, including the recent Iranian attacks, regarding which our country reiterated its firm condemnation and support for any initiative aimed at de-escalation.
A shared commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation in the defense sector was reaffirmed. In this context, a Declaration of Intent was signed to outline common objectives and potential areas of cooperation to contribute to regional and international security and stability." So said Defense Minister Guido Crosetto.
