Minister Crosetto Meets Lithuania’s Minister of the Economy and Innovation

“Today, I had a productive meeting with Edvinas Grikšas, Lithuania’s Minister of the Economy and Innovation, who thanked Italy for its crucial contribution of personnel and aircraft to NATO’s Air Policing and Air Defence activities in protecting his country.

The discussions focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation in the defence industrial and technological sectors and consolidating the European security architecture, with a perspective that extends beyond the framework of the EU-27.

The objective is to develop interoperable capabilities to counter threats, particularly hybrid and cyber threats, for the benefit of all the nations of our continent.”
