Minister Crosetto meets European Commissioner for Defence and Space Kubilius

Defence Minister Guido Crosetto had a constructive meeting with European Commissioner for Defence and Space Andrius Kubilius.

"There was complete agreement on the vision and priorities for European security: developing a more competitive, faster and more integrated defence industry, overcoming national fragmentation and reducing bureaucracy; barriers that hinder efficiency and speed in necessary procurement.
Rapid and structured exploitation of Ukrainian operational experience and sharing of lessons learned remain central elements,‘ said Minister Crosetto, who then added, ’On the hybrid warfare front, the need for greater EU commitment has emerged, including the creation of a centre dedicated to collectively and actively addressing this growing threat."
