Minister Crosetto congratulates Ukraine's new Defence Minister

Defence Minister Guido Crosetto presented his congratulations to the new Ukrainian Minister of Defence:
"Let me extend my most sincere congratulations to Denys Shmyhal, the new Ukrainian Defence Minister. At such a delicate time for the security of the country and Europe as a whole, I am confident that his experience and determination will be a precious resource in this crucial role. My best wishes for his new job, also based on our will to further strengthen the cooperation between our two countries within our common commitment for international stability and the defence of our shared values: freedom and peace", Minister Crosetto said. Then, he added: "Our support continues within an International Community environment, to guarantee concrete support to a nation that has been tackling the drama of a wreckless aggression day by day, for the last three years. My heartfelt thanks to Rustem Umerov for the good job done so far,  and my congratulations for his new post as Secretary of Ukraine's National Security and Defence Committee. I am confident that he will continue to serve his country with dedication and competence also in his new role".
