Minister Crosetto attends the EU Informal Defence Ministerial

“Today, in Warsaw, I took part, with my EU colleagues, in the discussion on the continent’s future security and defence in light of the complex international scenario. An important opportunity to define shared strategies to strengthen our nations’ and Europe’s security, focusing on industrial, technological and operational cooperation between Member States. We deepened the White Papers’ proposals on European defence and possible solutions aimed to fill major capability gaps looking forward to the June 2025 European Council. I reiterated Italy’s support for a just, lasting peace in Ukraine , to be achieved as soon as possible, and the importance of a unified, coordinated approach among European and Transatlantic allies”.
