Minister Crosetto at the Altar of the Fatherland with the King and Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland

Defence Minister Guido Crosetto, on behalf of the Government, this morning accompanied the King and Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Their Majesties Charles III and Camilla, on an official visit to Italy, to the Altar of the Fatherland.

King Charles III reviewed a joint Honour Guard deployed in Piazza Venezia. Subsequently, with Queen, accompanied by Minister Crosetto and the Chief of Defence Staff, Gen. Luciano Portolano, he laid a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

On the occasion of the visit of Their Majesties, The National Aerobatic Team and the Red Arrows, the Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team, flew over the Quirinale Palace.
