Defence Minister Guido Crosetto, on behalf of the Italian government, this morning accompanied President of the Republic of Iraq, Abdul Latif Rashid, to the Altare della Patria.

The Iraqi president, in Italy for an official visit, after reviewing a Joint Honor Guard deployed in Piazza Venezia, laid a laurel wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, always accompanied by Minister Crosetto.
