Meeting of the E5 Defense Group

The Minister of Defense, Guido Crosetto, today participated in a videoconference with his colleagues from the E5 Defense Group (France, Germany, Italy, Poland, and the United Kingdom).
The meeting provided an update on the situation in the Middle East and the Strait of Hormuz. The focus was on the security of the personnel deployed in the area and on supporting the partner countries in the region. The need to maintain constant communication to ensure a coordinated response was emphasized.
