The Eurofighter EF2000 Typhoons of Task Force Air Kuwait have cut the finish line of 7,000 flight hours in Theatre of Operations, conducting more than 850 missions and carrying out nearly 3,000 in-flight refuelling operations.

These activities aim to support the coalition against Daesh by providing Tactical Reconnaissance (TACRECCE) and Defensive Counter Air (DCA) capabilities.

Task Group Typhoon, which operates at the Italian National Contingent Command Air - Kuwait, has been operating in Kuwait since April 2019.

Initially based at Al Jaber Air Base, Kuwait, it moved to its current location at Ali Al Salem Airport in April 2021.
