“Today we have celebrated 12th June 1999. 25 years ago a dramatic conflict ended giving way to a path to peace and growth. Eversince, the Italian Armed Forces have operated to ensure peace, stability and the defence of democracy and freedom, a world heritage. We must continue to work together to build peace tracks, which sometimes is difficult and takes a long time, but is the only way to guarantee that international law prevails over the law of the strongest. A single nation cannot deal with that alone, the role of international organizations like the UN and NATO is fundamental.
Let me thank the people of Kosovo for showing courage, determination and desire for peace.”, Defence Minister Guido Crosetto said on the occasion of Kosovo Liberty Day.
