Jubilee of the Armed, Security and Police Forces celebrated today in St Peter’s Square

“The Defence family has gathered today for a prayer of hope in a peaceful future. Our respectful gratitude to the Holy Pontiff for gathering and ideally embracing all the pilgrims in uniform and his tireless commitment to fostering dialogue and peaceful coexistence of peoples”.

Thus Defence Minister Guido Crosetto on the occasion of the Holy Mass celebrated by Pope Francis for the Jubilee of the Armed, Security and Police Forces.

The Mass, held in St. Peter’s Square, was attended by personnel from the Armed, Security and Police Forces from the world over, as well as civilian, military and religious authorities and a crowd of common people
