"Sport conveys the values shared by all members of the military: dedication, sacrifice, solidarity. Values that make us applaud even those who come in last. Because it is important that all reach the finish line, without leaving anyone behind. This is what happens in the Defence family, in the Sports Teams of the Armed Forces and the Defence Paralympic Sports Group, which are fundamental for Italian sport”, Defence Minister Guido Crosetto said on the occasion of the International Day of Sport for Development and Peace.
