Gold for Italy at the European Swimming Championships in Paris

“Going beyond herself, Sara Curtis, athlete of the Italian Army Sports Group and the Defence, has made history in Italian swimming, breaking her own world record in just two days and bringing Italy to the top of Europe at these Paris Championships.
Well done, Sara! Congratulations from the entire Defence!” said Minister Guido Crosetto.

After setting a new world record with a time of 26.56 seconds, thus repeating yesterday’s achievement, Sara Curtis, Corporal Major of the Italian Army, today climbed to the top step of the podium, taking the Italian flag to the top of Europe.
