Meeting with Ambassadors of Foreign Countries Accredited to the Italian Republic

The Military Attorney General of the Republic at the Court of Cassation, Maurizio Block, recently welcomed Ambassadors accredited to the Republic of Italy from approximately 30 countries at the Army Officers’ Club “Pio IX”. Subsequently, Professor Giovanni Chiarini (Huddersfield University, UK) held a speech on “Threats to the Ecosystem and the Future of International Criminal Justice”.

The conference was attended by the First President of the Court of Cassation Margherita Cassano, who delivered the greetings of the Supreme Court of Cassationa and Council of Military Magistrates. Other participants included Constitutional Judge Giulio Prosperetti, Deputy Minister of Justice Senator Francesco Paolo Sisto, President of the Court of Audits Guido Carlino, Attorney General of the Court of Cassation Luigi Salvato, President of Rome Court of Appeals Giuseppe Meliadò, President of the Council of the Presidence of the Tax Court Carolina Lussana, members of the Council of Military Magistrates, leaders of the Armed Forces, Chiefs of Military Judicial Offices, magistrates and area experts.
