Defense: intervention for the restoration of road traffic in the Foggia area

A Task Force of the Army Engineering Corps, in collaboration with the Fire Brigade, intervened along the provincial road SP125, between the municipalities of Faeto and Castelluccio Valmaggiore, in the province of Foggia, to restore traffic following the adverse weather conditions of recent days.

The operation, at the request of the Prefecture, involved the deployment of personnel and specialized equipment to remove debris and obstacles on the road, in order to ensure the restoration of safety conditions and the reopening of the road.

Indeed, the heavy rainfall that affected the area caused widespread problems along the provincial road network, making connections between the inhabited centers of the area difficult.

The operations are part of the broader support system activated by the Italian Army in favor of the affected communities, contributing to the gradual return to normality, and the intervention is still ongoing.

Yet another demonstration that the Italian Army and Defense are always at the service of the community.
