Defence Ministry: Minister Crosetto’s condolences for the death of W.O. Francesco Pastore and Carabiniere Francesco Ferraro

"It is with deep pain that I express, personally and on behalf of the defence family, my heartfelt condolences to the families of W.O. Francesco Pastore and Carabiniere Francesco Ferraro, members of the Carabinieri Corps who died yesterday in a tragic car accident while on duty on a territorial control operation. My closeness and wishes for a fast recovery to the wounded Carabinieri member”.

Thus Defence Minister Guido Crosetto, after the tragic accident which occurred last night along State Road 91 in Campagna (Salerno), where the two Carabinieri passed away. Another soldier was wounded and is now hospitalized in critical condition at Eboli Hospital.

"I delivered ny heartfelt condolences to Admiral Giuseppe Cavo Dragone, Chief of Defence Staff, and General Teo Luzi, Commander General of the Carabinieri  Corps. The whole Defence Ministry expresses its sympathy to the families and loved ones of W.O. Francesco Pastore and Carabiniere Francesco Ferraro”, the Minister said.
