Defence. Crosetto: new aid contribution to the population of the Gaza Strip
"This morning, as part of the international humanitarian effort for Gaza, together with the United Arab Emirates and Jordan, Italy made a new contribution to the delivery of aid to the population of the Gaza Strip, participating in air drops with the support of Emirati aircraft.
Thanks to the joint work of Defence personnel, in close coordination with the MAECI, we will continue to guarantee our commitment in the coming days, together with the countries that have joined the humanitarian initiative.
Italy remains at the side of the civilian population of Gaza and is working with determination for a ceasefire that will allow the relaunch of a political process towards a just and lasting peace." Thus stated Minister Guido Crosetto.
