Condolences from Minister Crosetto on the passing of Chief Brigadier of the Carabinieri Carlo Legrottaglie

"On my own behalf and on behalf of every man and woman of the Defence Ministry, I express my deepest condolences for the tragic death of Chief Brigadier of the Carabinieri Carlo Legrottaglie, a servant of the State who was vilely killed while carrying out his duty with courage and a strong sense of responsibility, in defence and protection of the community. He passed away while remaining faithful to the oath he had taken: to protect the citizens and Italy at all costs.
In this moment of deep sorrow, we stand close to his family, to his fellow Carabinieri, and to General Commander Salvatore Luongo."
