"With deep sadness, I learned of the passing of Sergeant Major Vincenzo Iodice of the Army, who died following a tragic road accident in Rome while on his way to work. On behalf of myself and the entire Ministry of Defense, I extend my heartfelt condolences to his family, to the Chief of Staff, Army General Carmine Masiello, and to all of his colleagues in the Army."
So said the Minister of Defense, Guido Crosetto.
