Centenary of the establishment of the Military Ordinariate

On the occasion of the centenary of the establishment of the Military Ordinariate, the Minister of Defence, Guido Crosetto, attended the Eucharistic Celebration at the Basilica of Santa Maria in Aracoeli, officiated by the Military Ordinary Archbishop for Italy, His Most Reverend Excellency Monsignor Gian Franco Saba.

“For over a century, the Military Ordinariate has accompanied the women and men of the Defence with a discreet yet constant presence: a closeness that shares the sense of service, provides support during the most difficult moments, and reminds us that the values of community, hope, and faith can continue to light our path.” These were the words of Minister Crosetto.
