Carabinieri: inauguration of the 2025–2026 academic year of the Carabinieri Officers’ School
Minister Crosetto inaugurated this morning the 2025–2026 academic year of the Carabinieri Officers’ School.
The Minister of Defence, Guido Crosetto, inaugurated this morning the Academic Year of the Carabinieri Officers’ School.
Among those attending the event were the Chief of Defence Staff, General Luciano Portolano, the Commander General of the Carabinieri Corps, General Salvatore Luongo, as well as civil, military and religious authorities.
The ceremony was also attended by Army Corps General Roberto Jucci, Commander General of the Carabinieri from 1986 to 1989, who today reached the milestone of 100 years of age, and by His Eminence Cardinal Marcello Semeraro, Prefect of the Dicastery for the Causes of Saints, who led the beatification process of Salvo D’Acquisto.
