Building struck in Romania: Minister Crosetto issues firm condemnation

I express my firmest condemnation regarding the Russian drone that struck a residential building in the city of Galati, Romania, causing two injuries, including a minor.

This represents a dangerous and irresponsible escalation that cannot be tolerated.

To the Romanian Vice Prime Minister and Minister of National Defense, Radu-Dinel Mirută, and to all the people of Romania, we extend our deepest solidarity and closeness. In the face of these threats, NATO’s cohesion remains unshakable: the security of one member of the Alliance and the European Union is the security of us all.
