Army Soldier Saves Young Woman in Lake Bracciano

A young woman is in distress in the waters of Lake Bracciano. She is unable to make it back to shore, and panic sets in. 

An Army soldier, off duty at the time, immediately recognizes the danger. There is no time to think: he drops everything and dives in.

He reaches her and brings her back to shore. She is unconscious.
At that moment, his training makes all the difference: the first aid techniques he learned at the barracks become reality. 

Without hesitation, he continues until the ambulance arrives.

Instinct. Preparation. Courage.
We can call it many things, but in the end, only one thing matters: having saved a life.
