81 years ago the Battle of Montelungo was a moment of rebirth for the Italian Army, which fought valiantly shoulder to shoulder with the Allies for the Liberation of the Country, redeeming the honour of the Homeland and defending the dignity of the Tricolour. The Fallen received the respectful homage of Defence Minister Guido Crosetto and the whole Defence Ministry.
