165th Anniversary of the Unification of Italy
On the occasion of National Unity, Constitution, National Anthem, and Flag Day, the President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella, accompanied by the Minister of Defense, Guido Crosetto, laid a laurel wreath at the Shrine of the Unknown Soldier at the Altar of the Fatherland.
Today, three artillery shots from the Janiculum Hill (Rome) celebrated the 165th anniversary of the Unification of Italy.
The traditional "noon cannon shot" took on a new form this year, paying tribute to our Tricolor.
