“Ten years after the horrific terrorist attack in Nice, we remember the 86 people who lost their lives and the hundreds who were injured in the attack of 14 July 2016, while taking part in the celebrations of France’s National Day.
Our thoughts are with the victims, their families, and all those who continue to bear the consequences of that tragic night, with particular sympathy for the families of the Italian citizens who lost their lives.
Keeping the memory of what happened alive means renewing our commitment to combating terrorism, hatred, and every form of fanaticism, while never wavering in the defence of freedom, democracy, and peaceful coexistence.
These are the values that unite our peoples and form the foundation of peace, solidarity, and respect for human dignity,” said the Minister of Defence, Guido Crosetto.
